Did you know that you can walk through a cloud? You don't come out particularly dry, but forget about all those castles in the sky. A cloud is just a bunch of mist that would never hold up buildings. Go to these web sites and learn more about the enchanting environment of clouds!

TASK 1
First, before you go anywhere, click on this website and read about the three main types of clouds! http://www.eo.ucar.edu/kids/sky/clouds1.htm TASK 2
Click on this website and learn the basic level of these clouds. Guess what!? Once you know the three main clouds, you can start combining the names of them to get the "in between" types of clouds. First, it's important to know the height of the clouds in order to identify them. Lower clouds are stratus, (even fog!). Middle clouds are cumulus. (They can climb for many, many feet, though!) The highest clouds are cirrus. Check out this website to see how nature combines the different types of clouds to identify those that fall into two categories. Fun! https://scied.ucar.edu/cloud-types TASK 3
Click on this website to discover what you've learned. Knowing these clouds will make you feel like you know everything. http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/whatisweather/aboutweather/cloud.shtml |

TASK 4
