The world is a big place. The habitats, all put together are as big as the world. There is so much to learn, so much to handle. It makes our heads hurt just thinking about the oceans, and the different depths, the different climates, and the land, the layers, the longitudes, the latitudes, the tall mountains, and even the low levels of Death Valley that fall lower than sea level, itself! There's way too much to think about. So, let's start with Utah. Utah is a desert, mostly. We also have some amazing wetlands and beautiful forests that crown some of the most populated areas of the state. As a matter of fact, we're known for our famous snow powder. People come from all areas of the world to ski in our mountains. What makes Utah special is the wide diversity of habitats that we have here in our state.
Wait....
What is a habitat and what does it have to do with the living things in Utah?
